About Mayah…
When I was a sophomore in college, I founded a non-profit organization, MaconIt Inc. That organization is my child. Along with some of the worlds best people, we work to provide social and financial support to students from my home town, Macon, Ga.
I offer one on one consulting services through a small business I call, Mindful Consulting, where I use reflection to empower passionate people to do mission driven work.
I am the author of “Soul Food,” a journal that encourages affirmation, prayer, gratitude and story telling. I am proud of everything I am able to accomplish, but Soul Food is one of my most cherished creations. When I started consistently affirming myself, praying and expressing gratitude, I realized I had everything I need. With passion, faith, community and support, I can do anything. Everyone deserves to feel that powerful. That is why I am here. To share what I have learned with you so that we may grow together.
Here’s the thing…
I KNOW what it feels like to feel DISCOURAGED, OVERWHELMED and UNSURE, yet HOPEFUL and INSPIRED.
Let me read your mind for a second.
You have already written down your great idea and you know it is an answer to someone’s problem, but you haven’t made any major moves on it.
You are still trying to figure out if you are the “right person” to do the work you want to do.
You are looking for support, but it’s hard finding community you can trust and be vulnerable with.
You’re waiting for a BETTER time, MORE energy and resources.
Let me let you in on a little secret: If it was placed on your heart, you were destined to execute it. If you keep thinking about it, the time is NOW. If you need support, it is out there for you to have.
I had to start believing that. Once I did, I ended up here; with knowledge, experience and the confidence to share it with you.
If you are reading this and thinking, “Wow. She is in my head,” you’re in the right place. If you know you have an idea that will improve the lives of the people around you, but you just need support getting it done, you’re in the right place. If you just need to feel a sense of community, you’re in the right place.
You were led here for a reason.
